The beauty of the Lecrin Valley and the south coast of Spain is that there are a good selection of destination airports for you to choose from all within around 2 hours of your holiday location and all being on the routes of the main budget airlines, often offering penny flights, just pay the taxes!
For the Lecrin Valley, the nearest airport is Granada, approx 35 minutes drive. Also consider Malaga (90 minutes), Almeria (2 hours), and possibly Sevilla (2 1/2 hours). For the Costa del Sol then Malaga is the best option, but you could also consider Gibraltar if the flight prices are cheaper.
