About Pinos Del Valle

(705m above sea level) This traditional Spanish village dotted with orange and lemon groves, is situated up on the hillside overlooking Beznar Embalse. The village is divided into the Upper and Lower barrios with a church in each. There is a bank with ATM, bakery (Juan de Dios panaderia - excellent croissants and 'barras'), 3 supermarkets, 2 pharmacies, medical centre, post office (open 9.30-10am)and 2 bars, with both offering free tapas.

Market day: Tuesday morning, near the bank in the upper barrio, selling clothing, shoes and fruit and vegetables.
