A beautifully villagehouse in Pinos Del Valle, close to Granada city and the Costa Tropical, the name means 'the house of the pillar' referring to the old Roman pillar in the courtyard. The house is accessed through a shady courtyard with lemon trees and flowers, and has been restored to a very high standard in traditional style yet retaining all the comforts of home, such as dishwasher, washing machine, and LCD TV and DVD player. Ecologically friendly too, the hot water is supplied by solar power with backup from a gas water heater. The jacuzzi on the rooftop offers massage jets and great views across to the mountains. There is outdoor furniture adjacent, under a shaded pergola, perfect for al fresco entertaining. The 2 bedrooms both have en-suite shower-rooms, one room with a double and the other with twin beds. The living area is open plan into the kitchen with high-beamed ceilings, sofabed, and dining table and chairs, enough to seat 6 easily. there is also a juliette balcony overlooking the courtyard.
