It's name means 'House of the Gecko', a character restored village house in the oldest part of the village of Albuñuelas with traditional Moorish furnishings. La Lagartija is just around the corner from Casa de la Puerta Grande, Idrisi and La Joya so any of the properties could be rented out together for larger parties. Guests have access to the private orange orchard (as many oranges as you can eat for free!) ideal for picnics or splashing about in the paddling pool-please check at time of booking. The house has the Master Bedroom, Living Room and Roof Terraces on the top floor of the house affording spectacular views across the Rio Santo Gorge. It retains the original chestnut beams, copper sinks and wonderful tiles, and is well equipped for your stay.
More information : The kitchen is fully equipped with good quality items - oven, hob, microwave, juicer, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine/tumble dryer. The living area has a wood burning stove for cosy winter days, and stunning views across to the mountains. There is a small terrace from this room and also a larger roof terrace with furniture also access to our orange orchard with sun-recliners, BBQ, table, chairs, paddling pool for the children to splash in the summer months.
